The Human Rights Commission of Malaysia or Suhakam has always had a credibility issue for many in the human rights community in Malaysia.
Their recent plans to research possible legislation to recognise the third gender category is the last straw. Though understandable, it is hardly a reason for Suhakam to be dissolved.
