Since March 2021, #CENTHRA has launched a Community Leadership Empowerment Initiative (#CLEAN) that is targeted to focus groups including but not limited to, refugees, the stateless, single mothers and at-risk youths.
We are excited to introduce our second batch of CLEAN programmes with the Rohingya community. They are made of eager young blood who are raring to make an impact on their community and build on whatever they have, however they may.
These are among thousands of individuals who are looking to learn new ways they can contribute back to their own community and of that around them. These refugees have a life and a future. Their chance for hope comes from the prospect of being relocated to a refugee convention state and given the opportunity to make a living, a real chance of making something of themselves.
CENTHRA is honoured to provide this platform as a means for giving them that boost, look at their situations in a different light, and what being individual leaders can mean for them as well as their community.
